Once your phone call
or email is
received, they will immediately call the prayer cell captains who, in turn, call
those within their group. Within 30 minutes, these prayer warriors will be
united in raising your concerns in prayer. Summit Heights has seen many prayers
answered and truly believes in the power of prayer. When those tough times
occur, you are encouraged to take a moment, call our prayer chain captains and
give your church family an opportunity to share those times with you in prayer. As an addendum to the prayer
chain, there is also a supplement available in the form of a brief note that we
would like to forward to those for whom prayer has been requested. This note
advises that the congregation of Summit Heights will be in prayer for their
situation and includes appropriate inspirational verses as well as the pastor's
name and phone number of the church. No one's name or the specific
request is mentioned. We are suggesting whenever a
prayer request is submitted, either through the Prayer Chain or Church Office,
if you wish the note sent to the individual for whom prayer is requested, please
contact Cheryl Collins, Devotional Life Team Leader, who will maintain a supply
of the notes and forward upon request to the name and address provided. Cheryl's
phone number is 502.499-9525. Feel free to leave a message on the answering
machine if no answer is received when you call. Won't you take the
opportunity to let your church family provide support and prayers during the
difficult periods in your life, either through the prayer chain or
sending the inspirational note to those for whom prayer has been requested.
